Orlando is known for Disney World, Universal Studios and the Orlando Magic. As huge sports fans and pass holders to the main parks, we spend a bunch of time here. With our most recent visit, we stayed at the Orlando World Center Marriott and we found a home away from home. We checked into one of their beautifully renovated rooms and the view from our balcony was amazing! We had so much fun during our stay at the Orlando World Center Marriott, that it made us forget we were in the Theme Park capital of the world, this property literally had it all!

We spent our day at their newest attraction, River Falls Water Park. This area is home to 3 awesome water slides, the Boomerang, Aquasphere and Tailspin. Of course we tried them all more than once and while all the slides are amazing, our personal favorite was the Tailspin. The Tailspins was the longest slide of them all, but it wasn’t overwhelming, it made it the perfect slide to enjoy. Next, I grabbed Noah and we made our way to the Boomerang, spoiler alert, we didn’t brace ourselves for the 20 foot drop and before we knew it, we were sliding upward another 20 feet in the air and ended with a gentle water slide version of bumper cars, before we got dumped in the pool. After the slides, me and the entire family grabbed floating tubes and we all enjoyed a few relaxing laps around the lazy pool. Brittney and I alternated turns plopping Ayla on our laps while we enjoyed the cruise, I couldn’t tell you how many times we went around. Afterwards, Brittney, myself, Noah, Emma and Ayla, all enjoyed some fun in the sun and water, in the Aqua Park. Here we got to enjoy a heated pool making the water comfy and just right, Ayla enjoyed shallow water she can sit in and a sprinkler to cool off in.

If that isn’t enough, Orlando World Center Marriott also has the Falls Pool Oasis, this is where I had my fun! Here I had the Falls Pool bar and Grill, 2 big screens TVs and a huge pool surrounded by plenty of lounge chairs, cabanas and daybeds. The adrenaline junky in me climbed up the slide tower and took a few dives down each of the 3 waterslides. When I was done being a big kid, I headed over to the Kid’s Splash Zone to join my Wife and Kids and it didn’t disappoint either. They had their own kiddie pool to slide down, lounge chairs, private cabana’s and a heated kiddy pool too. As the Sun went down, we got to enjoy a couple of Mom and Dad drinks while enjoying a cool laser show by the poolside.

The Hotel had several different restaurants, a little something for all taste buds. In the mornings, we’d get our days started at Latitude & Longitude, the breakfast was fresh, tasty and filling. Brittneys favorite was the Japanese Steakhouse, Mikado. Britt loves the flashy stuff, but this time, the flash matched the taste. The Kids and I are simpler folks and we absolutely loved High Velocity. I got the best of both worlds here, sports and food. After dinner every night we’d spend some time at the arcade room, Noah and Emma each earned 500 tickets and on check out day, they were excited to redeem their prizes, of course we made them get Ayla a little prize too.

Orlando World Center Marriott outdid itself when it comes to self care. Being a Mom is one of the toughest jobs in the world and Britt was able to destress for a bit at the Spa. Every Morning I snuck off to get my day started off right in the fitness center. I was unable to tee off on this trip, but Hawk Landing Golf Club was beautiful! Speaking of self care and health, the HyCube was a beautiful site. The hydroponic system is used to grow and hold over 15, 00 plants, the produce is used at all of the Hotels Restaurants and when you eat at Latitude & Longitude, you’ll get a view of the HyCube.

No trip to Orlando for us is complete without a visit to Disney World. Unlike other Hotels and Resorts, Orlando World Center Marriott provides daily trips to the Disney Parks on a Charter bus for its guests. The Charter is equipped with comfy seats, Disney themed movies and plenty of pick up and drop off times to create convenient trips to the Parks during your stay. Next time you’re in town and want the best Orlando has to offer, be sure to book your next stay at the Orlando World Center Marriott.

This is a paradise for families 😉
